Caller ID
Caller ID solves the mystery of who's calling.  You can see who's calling before you answer the phone.  Caller ID displays the calling number (and name where available) on a special display unit attached to your phone.  You can avoid interruptions, answer an important call or ignore unwanted calls.  You are in control of the calls you want to answer.
 - Increases security, and helps avoid solicitation calls
 - Save phone numbers of callers even when you are out

Caller ID Blocking
Caller ID Blocking allows you to prevent your phone number from being made available to the party you are calling for the duration of one call.  To do this you dial a special code prior to making the call.  To use press *67 and dial the number you're calling as usual.  If you have requested Per-Line Blocking, you do not need to dial a code to block your number each time.  Your number will always appear as "Private."  To override Per-Line Blocking (allowing your number to be displayed) on an individual call, dial *82 before placing the call.
 - Keeps your phone number private

Call Waiting
Call Waiting informs you with a burst of tone during a phone conversation that another call is waiting to be answered.  You can answer the call either by depressing the switchhook or by hanging up and being rung back.

 - Important calls will not be missed
 - Relieves household tension associated with high telephone use
